EnergyRush Team Member Pat Curran is making quite a name for himself lately. After knocking out GSP’s protegé, Mike Ricci, in the Bellator Fighting Championship’s Lightweight Quarter Finals, Pat went on the beat world famous Roger Huerta by unanimous decision in the Semi Finals. Pat moves on to the Finals where he will take on submission specialist Toby Imada in a month or two.
Pat’s meteoric rise is impressive, but it’s not a total fluke. He trains with a world-renowned mixed martial artist, Jeff Curran, at Team Curran in Crystal Lake, IL. Jeff happens to be Pat’s cousin and it’s easy to see that winning is in the blood for these guys. Congrats to Pat on his on another huge win!

Jens Pulver. What can you say about the former UFC Champion and current WEC Contender? This guy is all heart. Those of you who watched him coach on TUF, know that Jen’s is very passionate about MMA and he loves to have fun. He’s a living legend having fought in PRIDE, the UFC, and now the WEC.
Jeff Curran. Jeff is one of the most exciting fighters in all of MMA to watch. He’s high energy and full of stamina. His record speaks for itself. At one point, Jeff won 15 of 16 fights showcasing his sick BJJ skills and his natural athleticism. Jeff has gone the distance with some of the top-ranked fighters in the world. He’s currently fighting with Bellator and Strikeforce.
Bart Palaszewski. Bart, aka Bartimus, is one of those larger than life characters. This former IFL Champion runs non-stop every time. Bart’s a well rounded MMA practitioner that can end a fight with a big knockout or a quick submission. Bart currently fights in the WEC.
Pat Curran.Cousin to MMA legend Jeff Curran, big things are expected out of Patrick Curran because of his bloodline. Patrick will need to work hard to fill his cousin’s shoes, but he has never backed down from a challenge, and doesn’t plan to now. Featured on the Versus Network’s “TapouT” show, season 2, Patrick has a big, bright future in front of him.
